I cannot wait for Spring!

While the Fashion world is focusing on the 2010/2011 fall and winter collections, the sun is making its shy appearance giving us proof that there is a beam of light at the end of this winter tunnel!

Seeing the light outside and the warm temperatures (as in not-so-cold, in winter standards that is) I decided to go for a walk in the neighborhood where I spotted a couple of fashionable people!

I didn't stay for long because it might be warmish but when the sun goes down we all remember that it's not even March yet!

Valentine's Day: love at first sight...!

Hey guys!

I hope you are having an amazing Valentine's day. The sun is shining, the snow is slowly melting and the District is waking up from its forced hibernation.

The past two weeks have been quite brutal as far as Fashion goes... Not only did the snow force us all to wear our least favorite pair of shoes...but the amazing Alexander McQueen passed away. R.I.P.

But today is not a day for mourning, it is a day to spread the love of life and of Fashion!

After being stuck for a week in my tiny apartment, I decided to take the metro for a quick and distracting shopping spree! With the bus routes closed and the mountains of snow disabling anyone in their right mind to walk anywhere, I took the underground metro to Forever 21 in Pentagon City where I fell in love with these amazing rings!

After watching too many episodes of the Hills over Christmas break, I had been looking for a two-finger ring for a long time ( like L.C's). When I found them lost in a bowl of rings on the check-out counter I fell head-over-heels for them ( not to mention that they cost $2.80 each)!

On this Valentine's Day I want to declare my love to my new rings! It was truly love at first sight...fashion love that is!
