I loved the pairing going on in this photo. Marrying the "boyfriend jacket" with such a sophisticated skirt was a nice move. The way she carried herself, relax yet aware of her sense of style made the outfit stand out even more!

This dress was my coup de coeur of today's shoot. No comment, pure enjoyment!

Today was a typical fall day at the circle! With the wind knocking the leaves off the trees, the warm six-o-clock sunset and a sea of fashionable office workers ( and non office workers!) tonight' s commute felt like a autumnal ballet where everyone was dancing in synchronization!

Today was a beautiful Sunday at the circle.l The benches were packed with people reading, talking, enjoying the weather. And of course, I was there trying to capture the spirit of this perfect lazy Sunday afternoon in the nation's capital! Here are some shots of what I saw and liked. An Ode to Cute Dresses.

I love the reporter style. She looked so classy and yet so décontractée.

With the rain and the sun setting earlier everyday, the conditions to take pictures around the circle have not been too great. I sat at the Starbucks for a while, shooting through the window and then went back to the circle. The one trend I noticed today is the vast number of cute summer/fall dresses that many women were wearing. I therefore decided to dedicate this post to cute dresses that makes every one of us women, happy to be women and be able to wear such great pieces of clothing! I couldn't pass on these beautiful dogs. Animal prints are in Fashion, literally!
How great is his sense of style? I love it from head to toe.
It's not so much the cigarette but that girl's dress that caught my eye. Her haircut also adds an overall great mix of modernity in her classical look.
Voted the best outfit spotted at Dupont Circle today. From the beautiful color of her t-shirt to her amazingly chic skirt, the girl got it all right. Who said you couldn't wear white after Labor day?
I haven't seen such a cute/ urban dress in a while. Her haircut and her 'naked' look make her look like a walking piece of art.

Hello World!

I have lived in Dupont Circle for a while now and this idea to create a blog that will highlight the great fashion sense of the neighborhood has been quietly sitting in the back of my head for a long time. Well, here it is! I finally created it. The premise of this blog is to show pictures of 'strangers' and their great sense of style at and around the circle.

I will be regularly posting pictures that I have been taken sitting by the fountain of people who I think should be rewarded for their great outfits and or attitudes towards fashion!
